Hi, my name is Victoria Burke, and I am the founder and director of Align Services. I am an experienced manager with experience gained in a variety of sectors. I am hardworking, efficient, logical, personable and well organised with excellent IT and communication skills.
Here is a bit of background …..my first ever job role after leaving college, was a maternity cover post at a local Further Education College in Widnes. I then took on various Administration roles within a few other local colleges and in 2001 I was promoted to the role of Assistant Administration Manager within a local sixth form college where I worked for many years.
In 2001 I completed my HNC Business & Management at the University of Chester, Warrington Campus and during my final exams I was delighted to discover that I was pregnant. In 2006 I took on a higher-level Admin role with a local Housing Association, they offered more flexible working hours and I this was what I wanted as my greatest ‘mummy’ desire was to be able to do school drop off and pickups. In 2008 I took on a Contract Compliance role within another much larger local housing association and I worked here for many years until I was approached in 2014, regarding a role at a local Chiropractic Clinic, I took on the role of Operations Manager overseeing compliance with NHS contracts and also carrying out the role of Practice Manager, I did this until late 2017 when I decided to branch out on my own and Align Services was born.
I have experience of working in the Education, Housing and Health sectors but feel the skills I have are transferable to any area of business.
My key skills are that I am a fantastic at organising anything and I have the ability to see the bigger picture, which helps when implementing new systems & processes, I am also a very logical thinker which I have found is a great skill for any area of life or business.
